Rotterdam, or anywhere…

17 Jun

“There are only two things I hate: people who are intolerant of other people’s cultures……… and the DUTCH!!!”
Not really- I’m quoting Austin Powers. The Dutch are really lovely. πŸ˜›

I’ve based myself in a coffee shop in Utrecht, where after three days the staff still find my fascination with the hot chocolate hilarious. (In Holland, hot chocolate is made by melting chocolate buttons into hot milk.)

I’ve had an intense few days of studio workshops that have passed in a slick of latex, and a fantastic shoot with Ardi-foto for Ardita fashion in some amazing locations. (I can’t show you the finished results yet as they’re for publication, but here’s a behind-the-scenes from outfit #2, by Dawnamatrix (bra-top) and HMSlatex (chest-harness)
We were in the local paintball shooting range- I’ll tell you all about it later when I’ve collected up the rest of the BTS shots.

I also visited Rotterdam for one night- I’d arrived on a Friday evening but found it the most peaceful, beautiful place I have been in a long time. My camera died shortly after I began my walk, but I visited the local park, which had green parakeets and just about every river bird I knew (and a few more I didn’t). I only wanted to check it out, but ended up sitting by the river for about an hour, watching the sun set behind a tiny peninsula where a family of moorhens had gathered under a weeping willow.

As I have no pictures of one of the most magical evenings of my travels, have some shots of the harbour and a different bird family. (Six ducklings- they must be so proud!) πŸ˜€

Oh, and there are sculptures everywhere. Go to the bottom to see a gnome with a buttplug. (See what I did there? *Snigger… Snort…*)

Art Critic Heron is impressed!

Now I’m back in Utrecht, I’m about to go and check out a little boat-cafe I saw a few days ago, but thought you might like to see a couple pictures I forgot to post, from all the way back in January, with Guy Bisson. πŸ™‚

Oh yes! And the voting has ended now for the Deep Down and Kinky Awards- thankyou so much to everyone who voted for me- it really does make me happy to see my work recognised. Many virtual computer hugs to you all. πŸ™‚

On that note, I’m in an advert in Retribution Magazine, along with my good friend Anita De Bauch. Photo by David Long.

I’m going off to dream on a boat now! And maybe even write, fingers crossed…

Speak to you all soon…

p.s. How could I forget…
Stop it, Rotterdam!

Roswell on canvas

6 Mar

I post a lot of blogs with photos of myself (and don’t worry- that isn’t stopping any time soon!) but recently I’ve had a period of getting booked by artists and painters, which is always interesting! A looooong time ago when I used to watch soaps (not telling you which though πŸ˜‰ ), there was a hilarious episode in which a character was booked by an artist. She had a lovely experience eating grapes and being told how beautiful she was, but when the painting was unveiled, it looked a bit like this…

She was horrified but I think I’d think it was hilarious if it happened to me!
I now pose for a lot of life drawing classes, which is a little nervewracking (always worried I’ll sneeze or my stomach will rumble!) but interesting getting to see the styles other people have.

Here are just a few of the pictures I’ve had the chance to snap after a class at Windsor and Eton Fire Station (awesome class):

I can’t remember who the artists are- if one of these pictures is yours, please let me know so I can credit you! Thanks! πŸ™‚

After a class, artist Dan Stepanek booked me for a painting session! First, he took some pictures of me, then projected them onto the wall and took some more with me posing in front of them- much fun! πŸ˜€ He sent me a picture of one of the paintings recently- here you go!

Roswell 3

I’ve not been online much recently as I’m working on my novel (due to send off on March 31st). Today’s been a good day- a quarter of a chapter done. Bad days consist of constant fridge raiding and internet checking. Not doing so well now as life has imitated internet art…
but I’m positive for tomorrow. πŸ˜€

Now, I posted on my facebook* page earlier today asking what I should blog about today. I actually have a blog saved up about inspiration (sort of) which I’m holding for a couple of days along with a post about why Carol Vorderman drives me insane, but another lovely fan would like to hear something funny. Now, that I can do right now!
Guess what happened the other day? Well… I won a Mills and Boon novel in a poetry contest for writing a poem called “Bus Love”. It involved people having sex in the back of a bus and could be the most ridiculous thing I have ever written (and won, lol!)

Still, it made my night (along with chocolate cake and hanging out with the lovely Anita De Bauch (who got a round of applause for being in love- yay!)and Madame Bink. We were watching Bink’s musician fiance Jack Broadbent play at a music and poetry night.)
Here they are- Bink being fluffy and gorgeous, Jack really isn’t a street preacher no matter what this picture suggests, and Anita reflecting in the window like a sexy 50s ghost!

Later in the week, I broke Anita while stretching together (never fear- she’s fine!) and gave myself a mohican for a shoot. Here we are with guest appearance by Lilith the hairless cat.

* Thankyou to all the lovely fans who shared my facebook page– I met my target and then some!! I’ll be drawing a name out of my awesome hat later this week and one of you will win a lovely signed picture!

I’m off now as the internet is distracting. Speak to you all soon!

p.s. Are you on Zivity? If so, my new set is live! It’s called “Salute” and I’ve linked it HERE! If you aren’t on Zivity, that’s no problem- you can unlock it for only two dollars! πŸ˜€ Just click the link and follow the instructions.

Putting feelers out…

6 Dec

Hello! Happy December to everyone! πŸ˜€

I’m keeping the promise I made to myself three years ago- that one day, I would look forward to Christmas again. Well, I have bought a lovely hummingbird tree decoration, am watching the robins bounce around my feeders and am actually getting excited when I hear my favourite Christmas songs. I’m also up to my ears in craft stuff as this year’s family policy is “make, bake, sew or grow”. πŸ˜‰

Okay, winter stuff over…..

Photographers (and fellow models), listen up!

I’m considering renting a little villa, apartment or hotel room somewhere lovely and sunny for a week in January or February. My plan will be that it is spacious and bright enough to shoot in (I’m available for fetish, nude, boudoir, fashion, beauty etc etc…) and in easy distance of nice locations in which to shoot too. Other models, if you’re interested in sharing/shooting with me, get in touch.

Photographers, you’d be flying to the area and staying nearby (If I get enough interest, I’ll put together a list of local hotels/B+Bs)
Now, there are flights to Venice, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon etc for around Β£30 and it’s off-season so hotels shouldn’t be crazy expensive, so this should be do-able in theory.
Estimated rates are about Β£180 for a half-day and Β£280 for a full day, but this is not set in stone yet-0 I need to do a little more research.

If anyone is interested in this idea, get in touch asap so I can get an idea of whether I can this could work or not. πŸ™‚

I’ll leave you with some of my favourite shots of me in warm and sunny places (even if they don’t look so warm, lol!)

The day I was a guerilla… and other stories

23 Nov

While searching for video footage of me for the video section on my website that is coming soon… I found this! I feature at the very start (could only do the photoshoot as I was booked for another show later in the day). It was a guerilla photoshoot and fashion show for Vengeance Designs on the streets of New York City… πŸ˜‰

Click the link above as for some reason I can’t upload the video :S

It was greatΒ  to finally work with Lydia the designer- it was all a bit hectic getting ready and out on time for the show(s) in various locations but when we were out and about we seemed to get a good response! I wish they’d shown some footage of us on the subway though- we did a fashion show through a moving carriage, lol!

Anyway, here are some stills from the day. Don’t you just love the dress!!???

Group shot! (I’ve mailed the designer for names and will add as I get them- I already know some of the people in here. Left is Lydia Lael aka the designer and Fonda Feeling is on the right.)

Now, as I’m updating my showreel, if any of you are videographers and would like to make some short videos, get in contact at with a link to some samples of your work. πŸ˜€

If you would like me to grace your wall next year, get in touch with Pirate Photography at
as I feature on her 2013 calendar and will happily sign it for you if you ask nicely πŸ˜‰ The calendar is $45/Β£30 including US/UK shipping and a little extra for signage.
Want one? Here it is!

You’ll be seeing some new images from my shoot with Pirate Photography very soon but for now, here’s us being utter fools between sets. Happy Movember! πŸ˜› There were no sexier girls in Grimsby that day.

p.s. I have spelled “guerilla” right, right?? I looked it up online and the word is sometimes listed with one R and sometimes with two.

31 Dec

Happy New Year to my friends in Australia and New Zealand, and a pre-emptive Happy New Year to everyone else!

Thanks also for the Christmas e-mails! It was lovely- I got some amazing presents and got to see my cat too- though it seems so far away now! πŸ˜€

I’ve been thinking about 2011 and New Year Resolutions. I don’t generally believe in New Year Resolutions as I think that if you want to make a change, do it now and don’t wait- but there is something about coming to the end of one year that makes me think about what I want from the next.

In 2011, I intended to learn French (well, THAT didn’t happen!) but other than that, I achieved many of my goals- especially spending time with my current friends and making new ones. My main sadness came from so many people dying. Please, no more death.

In 2012, I want to finish “Saving Bailey” (my second novel), lose weight (in general, I like my body but at the same time, I would like to be slightly thinner while keeping my breasts and bum), increase my flexibility even more (oh yes!), and do more for the Earth and our wildlife (I don’t have a vast amount of money but at the very least, writing something or volunteering are things I can do). There are other things on my list- but they’re secret! πŸ˜‰

I’ve been waiting to post these pictures for AGES and there are many more on their way! Last summer, I took part in a project at Adrian Pini’s studio with David Long, Adele Kirby and Anita De Bauch among many other rocking people.

Check us out! L-R: Emma, Me, David, Adele, Harsh. (Anita was at the next shoot.)

David, Adele and myself all write and so we worked on writing a story each and then photo-illustrating them! As all the stories had some kind of fantasy or sci-fi element to them, we worked on a greenscreen (my first time!) so the backgrounds and effects could be added later.

These are stills from “The Conduit”, by David Long

Enter the baddies: Adele…

… and Anita

I can’t wait to show you some of the shots where we’re posing together!!!

My long lost love. So sad.

Phew! He’s okay πŸ˜€

Adele wrote a story called “Life In Me”: have a still!

I be a princess!

The others from this story are still works in progress- as are the ones from my children’s story “The Black House Magician”.Β  (It’s my version of the myth of Galatea where a man builds a statue and falls in love with her). Can’t wait to show you. πŸ˜€

It was so much fun working with these guys- bring on the next project!

Our stick is EPIC!!!

“I’d hit it. Yeah, with the stick maybe…”

Bring it on, 2012!
