I guess you’ve noticed by now that I have been absent…
Last month, I testified in court against sex-offender-posing-as-photographer ‘Shaun Colclough’. I was asked to remove my blog for the duration of the trial but am now back for good. Three other exceptionally brave women also testified (out of the fourteen or so who suffered at his hands).

He pleaded ‘not guilty’ but was convicted of two counts of sexual assault and will be sentenced on the 24th (where I will be told the details of his previous conviction.) I will update you properly with all the details after the sentencing.
There is hope, and there is justice- but sometimes you have to fight for it. Fight for nothing, and nothing is what you will get.

Hooray! I have to say the police have been awesome.
I had wondered what had happened with that story. Well done to you, and all concerned, as I gather from other news stories that it can be a long drawn out procedure.

Yes indeed- it’s been a very long time coming and very frustrating that I couldn’t tell people what was happening, but as soon as the sentencing is done, you’ll know the whole story. 🙂

That is such amazing news!! Huge props to you and everyone else who stood up to him and has helped bring him the full justice that he so tellingly deserves! I know it is never pleasant in any fashion for anyone to go through what you had to with that guy (and of course all of the other women who he tried it on with as well). But it is also just as harrowing to have to re-live it by going through the trial process as well. You and all the others who stood up, gave him the middle finger and testified against him deserve the utmost full respect of everyone else. I just wish we lived in a world where this sort of behaviour did not exist at all. We are working on it, but it takes time. Luckily what you have done is help to prove yet again that perverted dorks cannot get away with treating women as second class objects who’s sole purpose is to fulfil their own sad fantasies and ideas.
Let us hope that this never happens to you or any model again. After all, the more people stand up to that sort of lowlife, the less chances that anything malignant can be caused by them.
Keep holding your head up high and enjoying knowing that you and all the others involved in taking him down have won the war!! 🙂

I am sorry you had to go through all of this. I am sorry any women had to suffer at this ‘person’s’ doings. I loath those that would prey on women, when they are so vulnerable as to be ‘trusting’ someone to be who they claim they are. I have come up with some very serious penalties for such people that are most likely what they deserve, but courts are not allowed to inflict upon them. All my life I have been an admirer of the efforts women go through to present themselves so very beautifully. For someone to be so low as to take advantage and abusive just disgusts me. I feel particularly bad for those women that were victims and are so traumatized that they could not even confront the ‘person’ in court to more pressingly express how depraved this ‘person’ really is. Again .. I am very sorry that this has happened to you. I only wish all the other women were as strong as you, and were able to confront the ‘person’. *I am trying to be very polite by saying the abuser is a ‘person’.
