The Queen of Hearts (and kittens and corsets)

I had a completely different blog entry in mind when I sat down, but then I was sent these pictures by Phine Ka photography and now I have to show you them instead. 😀

We shot this project a while ago and I was glad to get a chance to shoot in my lovely FairyGothMother corset! However, as much as I love it, I am now waist-training (and my breasts are just slightly too big), so I’m selling it. (Details below.)

I wanted to show a different Queen of Hearts to the usual very sexy or “Alice-in-Wonderland style”, so I decided to be someone with too many hearts- and their secrets- to keep.

Sooooo: the corset: It is a style no longer sold by FairyGothMother, 22″ waist,  in good condition and comes with detachable suspender straps! It retailed for around £200 so I’m asking for £130 ONO 🙂

I’ve just had the most fantastic weekend- I did a midnight nude shoot in Central London on Thursday, which was hilarious dodging taxis and night buses! When I arrived back at my hostel, I saw a lovely fox trotting along the road so I watched until it was out of sight. 😀
Friday, I had a fitting and test shoot- both went well and I’ll be walking in a fashion show for Playful Promises lingerie next month!
My first studio day of the year was on Saturday- such a beautiful view and lovely natural light! I was pleasantly surprised- it sold out three weeks before the day! I’ll wait for some pictures first before I post up my behind-the-scenes photos… 🙂
I then spent the rest of the weekend with my mum and some of my favourite people. It’s always nice to be able to go home and see people I love- I travel so much that I can’t do it as much as I would like but when I do get to go home, it’s always wonderful.

And-look! What’s cuter than a Bengal kitten?

    Oooh I wish I could afford the corset now… 😥 It has a very sweet classic look to it.

    Lovely images by the way, very serene… And lucky you! Playful Promises! *envy*

    My second nude shoot isn’t getting very good feedback 😦 (see here: http://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=816556 ) I feel like I really disappointed myself.

    I guess I just need to work harder…

      It’s lovely- I’m very sad to see it go but have to admit it does not fit me 😦

      Thanks- I’d been looking forward to seeing the Queen pics for ages 🙂
      I got your e-mail and will have a look later. I’ve found several I think are gorgeous so I’m not sure what the bad feedback is about! I’ll have a look.

                I don’t think they’ll tell you which days you’re needed because they won’t know, you just turn up at 10 am on the days that you want to do and see if any of the designers want to use you in their part of the show x

                  I’ve been booked by a designer rather than the organisers so as soon as she finds out which day she’s doing, I’ll know. That’s the plan as far as I know… :S xxxx

    That corset is beautiful! I’d buy it straight away but I think I’m a tad too tubby for it if it’s 22″ waist =[

    It’s a shame you’re not keeping it either – it matches your hair! =D But I suppose if I had to get rid of it because I had a brilliant, well-endowed bosom I wouldn’t mind =P

    And I can imagine a nude shoot in central London to be very hilarious dodging round like a nude ninja! How do you do these things?! =P

      It’s so lovely isn’t it! (It closes at 22″ so would fit about a 24-28″ natural waist). Lol! I’m really sad to see it go but I just can’t wear it for shoots any more and so I’d like someone else to have it and enjoy it.

      LMAO!!! A nude ninja- that will be the blog title for that entry. I was dodging night buses, cabs and people all night. Most pedestrians didn’t know what to make of me. 😉
